Krista Richards

I have 17 years experience as a primary school teacher. I am also a Forest School Practitioner so I value learning in the outdoors as well as inside and we have much fun balancing, measuring, building, climbing, hanging, throwing, jumping and creating in forest and wooded settings!

We wear all in ones and wellies so getting muddy or wet is part of the fun whilst staying dry and warm. I value creativity very highly and we have a creative area in our playroom where children are free to do whatever they wish to make their own masterpiece! There are many toys and experiences available in our playroom to cater for all tastes and interests, from dressing up, vehicle mats, construction, music, small world, many books, puppets and puppet theatre, sensory objects etc.

We go out most mornings to a variety of settings and places and in the afternoon we do activities such as baking, playing games, practising counting and writing in play situations. We also have a daily mindfulness session where we learn to relax, breathe slowly and enjoy the moment!
We have a large garden where children can come and go as the bifold doors are open.
