Breathe Easy, Nottingham West
We offer support, advice, information on living with and self managing a lung condition. It is also a chance to meet and socialise with people in a similar situation. The group is open to all those who fight for breath, their families and carers as a result of a lung condition Just come along and join a really friendly fun group. We have a lunch club to start the monthly meeting, and a variety of medical, social and local interest talks. We also hold local fund raising events and raise awareness throughout the year.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month 1pm – 3pm at the Catholic Church hall, Hill Top, 280, Nottingham Road, Eastwood, NG16 2AQ
There are no membership fees and no charges for the monthly meetings. The venue has ramped access, meetings are held on the ground floor and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet. There is no induction/hearing loop system.
Breathe Easy Nottingham West’s also hold a weekly specially adapted respiratory exercise classes to help control breathlessness, boost confidence levels and well-being. Classes are seated or standing held at different levels depending on ability at Plumptre Hall, Church Street, Eastwood on Thursday’s 9.45 -10.45 £4.50 all welcome
Singing group. Open to everyone. Every Wednesday - 3pm Church Hall, Hill Top. Singing the golden oldies, it is not a choir, your don't have to be able to sing. Makes you feel good. £4 a session includes refreshments.

Cost £4.50 a session, all welcome, even with oxygen 3 levels of exercise depending on your ability, this is a follow on from Pulmonary Rehab just pop along.
Singing class every Wednesday at Hill Top 3pm The British Lung Foundation say singing is uplifting and joyful and really good for anyone with a lung condition. People can feel positive during the singing session – and the positive mood continues afterwards. Singing can even help if you feel depressed, stressed or anxious. Regular group singing can make you feel less isolated and is a way of feeling part of a group. You can make new friends.
