Hi my name is Sharon, I have been working as a support worker for 6 years now, with 3 years experience for a company based in Nottingham, and 3 years self employed. I have covered areas around Beeston, Long Eaton Attenborough, Chilwell, Stapleford Bramcote and Kimberley .I have my own transport and I have the correct insurance to carry my clients . I have been supporting people with mild mental health conditions, younger adults with Autism and people with learning disabilities. I am also able to work with people with alzheimers and dementia. I am an enthusiastic person, with a fun sense of humour, but at the same time I have great understanding and i am a very good listener, I will always do my best to ensure all my service users have a lovely day and always leave them with a smile on there face.
I have a 16 year old daughter who suffers with severe anxiety, and this is one of the reasons i do this job I have had jobs previous to this in corporate companies which I never really had job satisfaction as i do now. I also have a dog who is now 11, I am very much a lover of animals.
I love walking and fitness and really enjoy the outdoors, i am also a keen baker and cook, spending time in the kitchen is something i really enjoy, i have helped many of my clients in this field and now can cook for themselves with much confidence.
