Profile
I believe I would be an excellent fit for the described job opportunity. I have the benefit of some additional life experience having raised three children which teaches you the benefits of patience and the ability to talk through issues that may occur when people find themselves in strange or stressful circumstances as well as seven years of experience and training in the care sector of community health. In recent times I have been working in the community with patients that have specific issues such as dementia, epilepsy, autism, phobias and learning difficulties in addition to those issues associated with later life such as limited mobility, so I am not fazed easily by patients that may present with physical or mental problems.
In my own history I came to UK some 14 years ago and found myself in a very different society and speaking limited English. I believe this experience has helped enormously with my ability to communicate with all sorts of people whilst maintaining a happy outgoing disposition, and to empathise with people who are suddenly placed in a strange or different environment. I love engaging with people and feel as though I can bring skills to the table to help relate to the patients, their concerns, their needs and their understanding……and of course to friends and family that might find themselves in an equally strange and potentially distressing environment.
I am well organised and efficient, and flexible with regard to working hours. My employment history means that I am used to be relatively independent and resourceful, although the opportunity to work as part of a team would make a refreshing change.
I am keen to learn and expand upon my experience within the health care system and believe I can meet all the required criteria and more.
