Worksop Priory C of E Primary Academy

We offer visits and look rounds. New pupils will have a staff buddy and often a peer group buddy also. Office staff will ensure that parents and carers have all the information needed for a smooth start. Parent/Carer email addresses and mobile numbers will be added to the system so that they are included in all emailed/texted information straight away. Class teachers and a member of SLT is available at the start/end of each day as a point of contact.

We operate an open door policy and parents and carers are welcome to speak to any member of staff at a mutually convenient time. Class teachers/Teaching Assistants and a member of SLT are around at the start and end of each day as a point of contact. There are formal parent consultation events termly and children identified as having a special educational need have focussed termly reviews.
Parents/Carers are encouraged to sign up for 'Marvellous Me', where teachers can share messages, accolades and photos. Parents are able to give a 'thumbs up' to show a positive reaction as they receive the information.
Parents and Carers of our Stars of the Week are invited to attend Friday Celebration Assemblies.
