Overview
The present owners acquired the Residential Nursing Home in 1996, since when the property has been extensively upgraded, significantly improving the accommodation and facilities for its Service Users (residents). The owners are actively engaged in the running of the Home and have many years experience of providing health care. This day-to-day involvement ensures that very high professional standards of care, essential in this type of environment, are constantly available to its residents. The Home accepts people who are funded privately or by a local authority. It specialises in the provision of long-term care for older people of either sex and is open to people in varying degrees of health, to those who are physically disabled i.e. who need wheelchairs and walking frames and to the terminally ill. Its is also open to people requiring short-term care, convalescence and holiday breaks, if rooms are available.
