Wollaton Park Preschool

Overview

A friendly, flexible childcare facility based in the heart of Wollaton for one to four year olds.
We have no catchment area, so we have children that attend the preschool from all over the Nottingham area. We are open term time only, following the Nottingham City term dates.
Our highly qualified and attentive staff offer a wide range of exciting and stimulating experiences, which allow children to develop and thrive; whilst feeling settled and comfortable in our warm and welcoming setting. We operate a key worker system to develop close, supportive relationships with each and every child and their families or carers. Our curriculum has a strong intention of high quality learning through play which follows children's interests. We are proud of being rated "good" after our latest OFSTED inspection (January 2024). We have a strong team who support children's well-being, including children and their families with EAL, SALT support, language delay and SEN.
We pride ourselves on our flexibility and affordability. We have a number of options available, which enable you to choose from morning sessions, afternoon sessions, or all day care to suit your families' needs. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, or we welcome you to come and visit us. We have a few spaces available for all ages, reserve your space now to avoid missing out.
We also have an Instagram page 'wollatonparkpreschool' which is updated regularly, showing some of the activities and experiences that we have available for our children each week.

Local Offer

The Local Authority and Nottingham City Day Nurseries and Playgroups have worked together to develop Nottingham City Schools Provision Maps. These maps provide a framework for Early Years provision in Nottingham and show interventions that it is reasonable for settings to provide to pupils identified with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our setting makes provision for pupils with SEND in line with this framework. The detail of the provision will vary depending on the needs of the children that attend.
The provision maps may be found at the link below.
For further details about the setting's provision please contact the setting directly asking for their SENCO.
