The death of a parent or sibling is one of the most fundamental losses a child will ever face. At Winston’s Wish, we believe that bereaved children need support to make sense of death and rebuild their lives – and that is why we exist.

Winston's Wish offers support for bereaved children up to 18 years, and their families, who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling.
They can also provide support for children where death of a parent/sibling is expected.
Professionals seeking to support these children may also use this service.
There are parents' guides for helping a child when someone has died. These are available in Arabic, Bengali, Spanish and Swedish as well as English.
