Overview
Weaverthorpe Pre-School operates from a purpose built building. We have a large outdoor area which includes a playground, grassed gardren with a woodland area. We provide a welcoming, safe, inclusive and stimulating environment to build a foundation for life-long learners. Our curriculum aims to support all children to reach their full potential.
At Weaverthorpe Pre-School each child has a key person who will settle them in and help them with their development. All staff are NVQ Level 3 qualified in Early Years Education and paediatric first aid trained.
Twice a week the local school hall is used for PE lessons and for our older children we use the forest school site for outdoor learning sessions. The sessions will include bug hunting, den building, and caring for plants.

We do not charge extra costs for consumables. We ask parents to supply their child with nappies, wipes, nappy sacks and a packed lunch if staying for a full day. There is no charge for snacks.

Dietary needs
We record any dietary requirements and ensure each child is provided a healthy snack which complies with their needs.
Special needs (children)
There is a trained SENCO staff member and we work closely with outside agencies. At Weaverthorpe Pre-School we have knowledge and experience of working with children with additional needs.
