Our approach
Our person-centred and restorative approach aims to empower and build resilience in victims. We provide them with the necessary tools to navigate their recovery journey and move forward from the impact of crime. Support offered by our victims’ services is free, independent and confidential, and available to victims and witnesses regardless of whether the crime has been reported or not.
Our approach to supporting victims is informed by our wider portfolio of experience in delivering different public services across the criminal justice system, such as those supporting victims of child exploitation, which provides us with a well-rounded understanding and perspective of the multi-faceted and complex nature of crime and its wider impacts.
