UpNorth Care Services is a registered home care service with the Care Quality Commission. We provide multifaceted support for all the requirements of our clients. We are a home help agency that supports the elderly, disabled, people recovering from falls or recently discharged from hospital and need support to remain in their home, people with dementia, Alzheimer's, people needing end-of-life care, people that need companionship among other things. The support that we provide is namely; help with washing and dressing, administering medication, ordering and picking up medication, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, supporting you to attend your appointments, shopping, walking and attending to your pets, attending to your plants, sit in services or sleep in service. We also work with clients who have complex mental health and substance misuse issues. We recognise the urgent need to effectively address addiction, and our approach is designed to do just that. We provide individualised person-centred plans all in a holistic approach. Our devoted team of specialists is dedicated to assisting individuals to live meaningful independent lives. We take placements for individuals who are 18yrs of age and above.


Where our clients require accommodation, we also work closely with other reputable partner companies who provide assured tenancies to our clients utilising the Real Tenancy Test statements criteria. By partnering with us, you will not only be working with highly competent professionals but you will also be assured that your loved ones would be well cared for with our wrap-around service provision.


Our services are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and our registered manager and two other senior managers have over eighty years of collective healthcare experience. We do not charge you for the experiences that our key personnel bring to the contract, but our clients greatly benefit from receiving timely assistance for their specific needs, as we are able to tap into our knowledge and skills and refer them onto the right sources of help.


We accept referrals from social workers, service commissioners and private individuals. Before accepting a placement, each of our clients is thoroughly assessed and a collaborative risk assessment and mitigating factors are taken into account. To ensure that our employees and clients are always well-supported, our managers maintain a 24-hour on-call system. Our employees are well-trained, DBS vetted, and adhere to our company's corporate culture. We adhere to safe recruitment processes.
