Hello, We are Tracey Hunt and Claire Meades, we are OFSTED registered childminders that work together as Carlton Childcare. We create a home from home, warm, loving environment for children aged 0-5 years old.
About us
Tracey
I am a mum to 3 boys, I have worked with young children for over 20 years, before childminding I was a Primary School Teacher working with Early Years and Key Stage One children. I became a childminder 15 years ago and love every minute. Having been a teacher I use my experience to develop our curriculum for each individual child in our care.
Claire
I am a mum to 2 boys, I have been a childminder for 14 years. Prior to childminding, I worked at Boots Head Office. I have a level 3 diploma in Childcare. Being a childminder enables me to work from home and do something I really enjoy. Having used a childminder for my eldest son when I returned to work I can empathise with how tough and emotional it is to leave your child in the care of others.
We work together from both of our homes, with dedicated playrooms. We do lots of educational activities and try to get outdoors as much as possible, we visit local libraries, playgroups, forest schools and parks.
