The Troc Care Home

Overview

The Troc Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Newark within easy reach of the A1 and on the regular Newark – Coddington bus route. Registered by Nottingham Social Services for 32 residents and 2 dementia residents, the Newark residential care home has under gone a major refurbishment with 7 on suite rooms, attractive gardens with a large patio, ornamental pond and summerhouse. At The Troc Care Home each resident is regarded as an individual and every effort is made to meet their particular physical, emotional and psychological needs. We endeavour to ensure that each resident has companionship and stimulation in a homely, relaxed atmosphere without loss of dignity or independence. Continued involvement with family, friends and community are actively encouraged. Our staff are selected for their caring qualities, positive outlook and empathy with older people. All our staff are required to be conversant with and to actively carry out the aims and objectives of the home. Visits from relatives, friends and caring volunteers are warmly welcomed at all times and their contributions to our happy family atmosphere and their participation in the activities of the Home are much appreciated.
