The Priory Catholic Voluntary Academy is a slightly smaller than average mixed primary school; it is situated near to the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border. In March 2012 the school became an academy as part of The Saint Robert Lawrence Multi-Academy Trust. The school serves the families of Eastwood and the surrounding areas of Nottinghamshire, as well as the surrounding areas in Derbyshire. The school was built just over fifty years ago (1963) as a result of the commitment of the parishioners, parents and clergy of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Eastwood. This is our Parish Church with which we maintain an extremely close worshipping and working relationship.
Times and availability
The school operates a breakfast club from 7.30am to 8.40am each morning before the school day begins at 8.40am. At the end of the school day (3.15pm) the school runs a variety of clubs which end at 4.30pm.
