Burton Joyce is our flagship pre-school. Consistently rated as Outstanding by Ofsted, this is where The Lime Trees story first began. We are extraordinarily proud of the superb range of facilities which children have access to on a daily basis and we think you’ll agree that it really is a first-class pre-school.
Accepting children from the age of 2 years and up, we also host a vibrant and busy before and after school club and holiday club for Burton Joyce primary school on who’s site we are based.
Forest school is just one element of our very own Curriculum ‘Play’ which is delivered by our highly qualified and trained staff every day for children. There is never a dull moment here and children are always encouraged to play and have fun!
Burton Joyce pre-school also boast access to a multi-sensory room which is equipped with a range of sensory and light equipment so that staff can offer sensory sessions and small group phonics and language support for children on a regular basis.

We provide gluten free foods, soya/goats milk if needed and vegetarian options.
Special needs (children)
We have a SENCO trained member of staff, links with the school SENCO. We have individual childrens passport to identify each need, we currently integrate sign language in our day.
