Overview
The Hub is open from 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
The Inspire and Achieve Foundation supports unemployed and isolated 16-26 year olds, helping them to overcome their barriers, improve their mental health, and move into education and employment (EET). Our support is delivered via three main project strands:
- Free, daily youth activities programme to improve young people's mental health and get the connected with their community. This programme offers a wide range of activities to get involved in whilst developing important transferable skills and confidence. Past activities include dungeons and dragon's sessions, orienteering, baking, social gaming, power kiting and social action projects. For our full event listings, please visit our website: Level up your skills with XP
- 1-2-1 mentoring, providing young people with someone to talk to about their personal barriers and employability journey! Our 1-2-1 mentoring is Matrix accredited, delivering professional support out in the community at IAG level 3 and above.
- The King's Trust Team programme - Intensive and life-changing 12-week personal development course where young people gain a nationally recognised qualification in Employability, Teamwork and Community Skills. This programme is designed to build confidence, push young people out of their comfort zone and develop their employability skills.
All of this is made possible at our Mansfield Youth hub which is open daily to connect unemployed young people with activities, opportunities and support. You'll find us at 159 Yorke Street (NG19 9NJ) which is also the home of our brand-new alternative provision, Achievement Unlocked (opens in new tab) , for ages 16+ with EHCP.
