Age Friendly Nottingham is relaunching its ‘Take A Seat' initiative on Wednesday 20 March, as part of the national ‘The Age Without Limits' Day of Action.
"Take a Seat" (TAS) is a community initiative which aims to tackle issues of social isolation, by motivating older citizens to feel confident about leaving their homes and playing an active part in their local communities.
Older people know that a venue is taking part because they have a ‘We Are Age Friendly' poster displayed in their window.
