Overview
Sutton-cum-Lound CofE Primary is a small village school located just outside the town of Retford. Children attend full time school from the year in which they are five. Pre-school provision on site enables children to attend Sutton from two years of age.
We offer a wide range of child care facilities, in addition to the clubs we offer a daily breakfast and after school club. Breakfast club is available from 7.45 am and our after school child-care provision is available until 5.30pm.
We are proud of our family atmosphere providing an individualised curriculum which is fully inclusive.
All staff have the key skills required to ensure all children are able to access a broad and balanced curriculum.

In recent years the school has expanded with the addition of an extended classroom specifically designed for the Reception year, a new outdoor space for EYFS and KS1, new playground equipment and an updated library. We have recently had extensive building work to update our school to ensure it is more energy efficient. Our outdoor play spaces are designed to promote healthy life-styles and keep the children active all year round.
