Sutherland House School (Braithwell) - Autism East Midlands

Sutherland House School is a School for autistic children and young people, based in Braithwell, near the city of Doncaster.

Curriculum

The two curriculum pathways at Sutherland House School are designed to meet the wide range of learners with an EHCP:

• Pathway 1 enables young people engaged in non-subject specific learning to develop their communication, numeracy, creative arts, physical development and independent living skills.
• Pathway 2 prepares young people to access qualifications to help them secure college, work placements, apprenticeships and to live independently.

Each pupil is provided with a bespoke educational experience which allows our pupils to work towards curriculum and EHCP outcomes with therapeutic support.
