Susan Gill

Overview

8am - 6pm

My name is Sue and I live in the Mapperley area. I have been working with babies, young children and also children in special needs as a Nursery Nurse and Teachers Assistant for the past 30 years. I have worked in many different settings.

All of my jobs have been amazing and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all the children I cared for. However, 3 years ago I decided to set up my own Childminding business and I love working with the parents and children. We do lots of seasonal topics and days full of fun planned activities and enjoy going to local children’s groups.

I have positive images, books and jigsaws of children with special needs in my childminding setting. I have worked in many special needs schools as a Teaching Assistant, and have worked with children with the following: Autism, Downs Syndrome, Behaviour Problems, Asthma and Dyslexia.

I take Fridays off to improve my setting. I attend training courses on a regular basis. I have been working towards turning my outdoor play area into a sensory garden for the children in my care.

Currently Full and not accepting new children
