If you’re looking to host a conference, meeting or special event, Nottinghamshire libraries have a number of affordable and flexible venues for hire around the county.
At Southwell Library we have several rooms for hire, from a small counselling room to the whole of the library, perfect for any size of group.
Our hire facilities also include:
- Tea and Coffee Making Facilities
- Designated Artroom with sink and hard floors
- Portable smart screen
- Projector screen.
- Portable stage, lighting and sound equipment
- Free Wi-FI (throughout the library)

Monday - 9:00am - 6:00pm
Tuesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday - 9:00am - 1pm
Friday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday - 9:00am - 3:00pm
Sunday - 11:00pm - 3:00pm
Some meeting rooms may be available outside of normal library opening hours. Please contact the library for more details. (This will incur an extra cost).
