Social Support Solutions is a Nottinghamshire-based supported living provider committed to delivering high-quality care and accommodation services for vulnerable individuals within our community. We specialise in providing tailored support to young people and adults facing a range of complex needs, including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism, and those experiencing housing instability or requiring emergency accommodation.
Our founder and Registered Manager, Shanneil Steele, is a qualified Mental Health District Nurse (Band 6, NMC Registered) with extensive experience in both adult and children's mental health services. In addition, Shanneil holds legal qualifications, bringing a strong foundation in safeguarding, compliance, and advocacy for vulnerable populations. Her diverse professional background ensures a compassionate, rights-based, and clinically informed approach to service delivery.
Social Support Solutions is driven by a deep commitment to community impact. Our goal is not just to provide housing, but to create safe, supportive environments where service users can thrive, regain independence, and build meaningful lives. Our services are underpinned by values of respect, dignity, and empowerment.
We currently offer a range of well-maintained, fully furnished properties across Nottingham and surrounding areas, all located near public transport routes and local amenities. These homes are designed to meet the varying needs of our clients, whether for short-term support, step-down services, or long-term accommodation.
Our team of dedicated professionals brings together experience in social care, nursing, mental health, and youth support. Together, we provide round-the-clock, person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs, goals, and circumstances.
Social Support Solutions is in the process of registering with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Ofsted, and we are working closely with local authorities and commissioners to become an approved provider.

Each property includes:
Spacious, clean, and well-ventilated bedrooms, allowing each individual their own private space for rest and personal time.
Fully furnished communal areas, including a comfortable lounge, dining space, and shared bathrooms maintained to a high hygiene standard.
Modern, fully equipped kitchens with all essential appliances and fittings to support independent or assisted living.
Regular professional cleaning of communal areas and deep cleaning between placements.
