Sista's Against Cancer Support Group

Sista's Against Cancer (SAC) is a cancer support group based in Nottingham. We engage with women affected by cancer and other long-term conditions who are less likely to identify with or access existing support groups due to specific unmet needs or lack of awareness about culturally appropriate support services.

Our vision was born by our first Chairperson, the late Dr Rose Thompson and her family. Rose's personal experience of cancer was initially as an isolated young adult carer with a faith group background, and later as a breast cancer patient.
