Singprovise Nottingham - Group Vocal Improvisation

Overview

First and third Thursdays of the month, 7.20pm - 8.50pm

What do we do?
Supported improvised group vocal music making for all levels and experiences of singing (and none!), including body percussion and oral percussion.

This involves both group vocal improvisation guided by one individual (known as circle singing) and group initiated vocal improvisation (known as Collaborative Vocal Improvisation – CVI). We also experiment with a lot of confidence/skill building fun vocal improvisation games. We approach group sound making in a playful and joyful way for our own benefit and enjoyment. We aim to have fun, laugh a lot, and hopefully have some moments of amazing music making together along the way!
