We are available Monday to Friday 9am - 4 pm

We are alternative providers for Nottinghamshire County Council and provide specialist home tuition and support for children and young adults with complex needs.

We provide:

Home tutoring for children and young people who are unable to attend educational settings and need specialist one to one support. We deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to each child's individual needs including access to learning, re-engagement with education, develop social and emotional skills, encourage independence, support access to the local community and support their rehabilitation. We want our sessions to be fun and enjoyable but also effective. Our ethos is live, laugh and learn.

We work very closely with each family/carers to enable a child centred approach to find a starting point and then move forwards to help develop learning and engagement.

We understand that some of or learners have sensory needs which impact on everyday life. We identify sensory behaviours and triggers to help develop regulation strategies to enable learning and engagement, we adapt our sessions accordingly.

We are experienced in working with children and young people who have deteriorating life limiting conditions, complex physical and health needs or have experienced a change in need and are undergoing rehabilitation. For these young people we provide a bespoke curriculum to facilitate their learning and engagement and will work around these needs whilst providing home tuition.

Depending on our learners needs we access the local community to help our learners develop their confidence, fitness, sensory regulation, communication, socialisation and independence skills.

Where appropriate we support transition back into mainstream, special school, college or other settings.

We also offer training for teachers/TA's/carers on understanding sensory needs and behaviours, sensory approaches to learning and can give resource ideas and strategies to support their learning and engagement.

Sensory courses on how to effectively and purposefully use a sensory room and create an enabling learning environment.

Practical hands-on ideas on how to use high and low-tech sensory resources.

Sensory stories.

Advice on how to help make the curriculum multi-sensory and inclusive for all learners.

We have enhanced DBS, NSPCC Designated safeguard lead training, GDPR, Paediatric First Aid, plus numerous qualifications which can be seen on our website.

We are based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, however our service is bespoke and tailored to learners individual needs. We work with children and young adults within their homes to provide specialised multi-sensory and adapted home tuition.

We run nationwide courses in schools, nurseries and children's homes.
