Serenity Pathways Provision – Therapeutic Alternative Education

Serenity Pathways is a specialist alternative education provision offering a calm, nurturing and therapeutic learning environment for young people who struggle to thrive in mainstream school. We combine trauma-informed practice, personalised education, and wellbeing-focused support to help learners rebuild confidence, emotional resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Our programmes blend creative, academic and nature-based approaches, tailored to each learner’s strengths, needs and interests. Young people can access 1:1 or small-group sessions covering emotional literacy, PSHE and wellbeing, creative arts, and Functional Skills English and Maths. Every learner receives weekly therapeutic coaching to support regulation, self-esteem, engagement and long-term progress.

We work closely with families, schools and professionals to ensure a joined-up approach, clear communication and meaningful outcomes. Our aim is to help young people reconnect with learning, develop life skills, and feel safe, understood and supported as they move toward their next steps.

Serenity Pathways provides a structured 12-week rolling programme that can be extended based on need, enabling consistent support and flexible re-entry into education.
