Rushcliffe Foodbank (Project of Sewa Day Nottingham)

Overview

Fortnightly on Saturdays 9.30 am - 1 pm

Rushcliffe Foodbank is a project of the Charity Sewa Day Nottingham

A local foodbank run completely by volunteers . We pack food parcels to include both ambient and perishable food along with toiletries, pet food and household cleaning items at regular intervals. The food parcels are packed according to the size of the family and it’s driven by people's need as opposed to a one size fixed approach for all families. Delivery service available for all service users.

We have no overhead costs and we rely solely on members of the public to give food parcels to people.

We support people for a period of four months and people can self refer. Our aim is to support people during difficult times and there are no questions asked.

The foodbank is run by volunteers from all walks of life and we encourage people to give their time, collect food donations for us and offer their selfless service
