Overview
Hi my name is Victoria Navin and I am passionate about connecting neurodiverse learners to literature, history, culture and topic through the senses.
I write fully resourced, step by step sensory stories and teaching resources.
The stories and resources are step-by-step and easy to follow and are of interest to parents, grandparents, carers, teaching and childcare professionals, activity coordinators, support workers, librarians, storytellers and anyone with an interest in storytelling through the senses.
The resources help people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and adults with dementia to build their communication skills, promote independence and engage the senses in a way that is meaningful to their lives.
There are free resources available including
- 'A Different Day' helping individuals with SEN understand the Covid-19 Pandemic
- 'Washing Hands' Helping individuals with SEN with their hand hygiene during the Covid-19 pandemic
- 'The Dentist' - Helping individuals overcome barriers to their dental hygiene
- 'The Weather' A sensory exploration
- The Queens Jubilee - A Royal Multisensory Adventure
