The academy provides a stimulating, challenging and safe learning environment where individuals are valued and nurtured and access a curriculum which meets their needs.

We are ambitious for all our learners through our values:

  • We empower
  • We respect
  • We care

We encourage all our children to follow the Redgate aims:

  • Be Independent
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be curious
  • Make good choices

Curriculum

We have three curriculum pathways, which meet the needs of the children both academically and socially. Children follow the most appropriate pathway for their level of learning. Our flexible approach, means they can mix and match different elements of the pathways to keep their curriculum offer ambitious.

The curriculum is planned to provide continuity and progression, enabling children to make connections and transfer skills, to think creatively and solve problems. It also develops children’s capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
