Overview
I provide a friendly childcare service. I pride myself on providing a "home from home" setting, i actively promote "life skills" eg baking, cooking using various fruits, veg, herbs, grown from seed at our very own allotment, use of tools, building new equipment or toys, basic first aid, all these activities give the children a great sense of achievement and confidence which they can carry on throughout their lives. At the start of their journey with me i work with parents to find out as much info to help the children settle well, could be favourite activities, soothing methods etc.
I hold an NVQ3 in Childcare Learning and Development and also in Health and Social Care. regular training includes Paediatric first aid, and safeguarding
