Puddleducks Pre-School - Worksop

Puddleducks Pre-School is a voluntary managed, not for profit pre-school based in Bassetlaw Family Hub, Raymoth Lane, Worksop. As a registered charity any money that we raise is ploughed straight back into the pre-school.

Our pre-school is a happy, fun, safe environment providing a high standard of early years education to children aged 2-4 years old.

Our highly qualified and dedicated staff team believe that children learn best through play and plan stimulating activities based around each child's individual needs and interests.

Puddleducks currently employs 7 qualified childcare staff. The Pre-School Manager and Deputy Manager both hold a Level 5 qualification, 4 staff are qualified to Level 3 and 1 staff member is Level 2. All childcare staff hold a full and valid paediatric first aid certificate as recognised by Ofsted.

The aim of Puddleducks is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age (from 2 to 5 years old).

We organise our sessions so that the children can choose from, and work at a range of activities and in doing so, build up their ability to select and work through a task to its completion.

Outdoor activities contribute to children's health, their physical development and their knowledge of the world around them. The children have the opportunity and are encouraged, to take part in outdoor child-chosen and adult-led activities as well as those provided in the indoor playroom.

We work closely with other Early Years professionals and have excellent links with the Healthy Families Team that are also based in the same building as the pre-school.

Opening Times

We are a term time only sessional pre-school.

Fees are invoiced every term, we are registered for tax free childcare and accept childcare vouchers. We ask that parents/carers supply nappies, wipes and sun cream for their child. Snack is provided twice a day and is funded by the pre-school.
