Overview
Welcome to Paper Moon Day Nursery, located in Forest Town Mansfield! We offer a bright, play-based learning space for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years old. Our approach centres on child-led play, ensuring children are at the heart of our curriculum. With dedicated and trained staff, including a specialised baby room team, we provide a safe, stimulating environment where every child is cared for and educated.
We provided two free settling in sessions for children to gain as much knowledge as we can as well as helping to make those first days easier for them and for you.
The nursery is open 51 weeks a year (except bank holidays) and accepts all funding for children aged 9 months and over. We offer funding to be stretched over the year to help you balance your monthly outgoings as well as term time only booking (dependent on funding). The nursery follows the Early years nutrition guidelines to ensure children are provided with healthy and nutritious meals through out the day. These are all cooked fresh on site by our in house nursery cook. Allergy's are catered for as requested and supported by the whole nursery team.
Our dedicated trained Special Education Needs Coordinator supports children with specific needs to achieve their highest potential as well as their parents to understand how they can support their child at home.
We work with many services to ensure children get he most out of their education and are ready to go on to their next learning journey at school.

Individual education plans. PVI teacher and we adapt the activities to suit their needs. We make all activities accessible to all children. Staff hold Gastronomy training for children who are peg and button fed.
