Would you like free advice from a local representative from Gedling Borough Council about a wide range of issues, regarding council services?

We run outreach sessions at the Carlton Methodist Church every Tuesday from 11:00AM-2:30PM, where anyone is welcome to book a one-on-one session with a friendly local representative by either calling Gedling Borough Council at 0115 901 3901or dropping in to the church in advance to book the appointment.

We offer a wide range of help with:

  • Housing support and housing conditions
  • Universal Credit signposting
  • Support and issues paying council tax
  • Environmental Health issues
  • Anti-Social behaviour issues
  • Safeguarding
  • Available grants
  • Help getting online
  • Waste services

Times and availability

These sessions are one-on-one and confidential, and you can receive free advice with your issues around the council's services.

Age Range: All ages are welcome.

The church is welcoming to all and has a friendly and supportive atmosphere, so anyone can drop into the sessions. The church also has café facilities which offers you refreshments and is accessible for everyone, including wheelchair users.
