Online Financial Assessment Tool
A new Online Financial Assessment tool has recently gone live on the Adult Social Care Hub.
This online tool is intended to help people who want to know more about the possible cost of receiving care, either at home or in a residential home, for themselves or a relative. It enables citizens to obtain an estimate of how much they might have to contribute towards their care and support before submitting for a formal financial assessment.
The hope is that this will improve the customer experience, by managing expectations, supporting increased self-service and helping citizens be prepared and aware of the processes involved - and, for our colleagues, make formal assessments easier to process.
