Nottingham & District U3A

Overview

Monday to Friday

Nottingham U3A brings together men and women of diverse backgrounds and with varied experience who might not otherwise have the chance to meet. We enjoy one another's company and friendship as well as the very varied learning experience.

We have around 25 interest groups, most of which meet fortnightly at the International Community Centre. Please visit our website to see our current programme.

Anyone who is retired from full-time gainful employment is welcome to join us. There is no lower or upper age limit, and you do not have to live within the city boundary. We are a registered charity run entirely by volunteer members, and encourage our members to get out and about and enjoy a wide variety of visits and activities.

Most of our activities take place in Room 3 on the ground floor of the International Community Centre, which is wheelchair accessible. The Recorder Players meet at Queens Walk Community Centre, which has a ramp entrance, lift access to the upper floors and free parking.
