Nottingham City Council Housing Services - Retirement Living for Older People

Overview

Nottingham City Council Housing Services provide 61 retirement living schemes throughout the city. A range of one or two bedroom flats are available, offering people the independence of living in their own self-contained home with the benefit of a little extra support.

We look after the maintenance and security of the property and grounds, and professional Retirement Living Coordinators make regular visits to help residents access all the services they need to maintain an independent lifestyle. An optional connection to Nottingham on Call is also offered, providing the peace of mind of a 24 hours seven days a week monitoring service.

Welcoming communal facilities encourage socialising. Most of the communal rooms have been completely refurbished as part of our ‘Modernising Housing’ programme. Lounges are bright and airy with contemporary artwork and fittings with comfortable and modern seating for social gatherings. Many residents take part in activities including excursions, IT classes, affordable meals and exercise classes.

Affordable tenancies are available for those aged 67+ (or 60+ if in receipt of eligible benefits). Furnished tenancies may be available on request. Contact us on the details below to arrange a viewing or just to find out more.
