Meetings Information: Rehearsals on Wednesday 8.00 pm and Sunday 7.00 pm.
Newstead Brass are Nottinghamshire's highest ranked brass band and are the current Rochdale North West Open Brass Band champions and took second place in eth Wychavon Festival of Brass in 2024. The 30 piece brass band is available for concerts and events across the region and often performs to support local and national charities. We also take part in brass band festivals and competitions. The band strives to provide a wide range of music, not only that which is traditionally associated with brass bands.
Times and availability
Due to limited space we can generally only accommodate casual visitors on Sundays.

Costs
Players pay a monthly subscription (currently £15) - can be waived in certain circumstances.
Concert organisers pay a fee, typically between £500 and £800 depending on venue, time and programme requirements
