Misson Primary School - Foundation Unit

We are located in a village on the banks of the River Idle close to the town of Bawtry. The school has about 100 students who come from a wide geographical area. At Misson, we emphasise individual student progress within a caring school community.

At Misson, we value each child as an individual, with his or her own potential, interests and talents. We help each child to engage with their learning so that they can enjoy school life and take pride in their growth. We have high expectations for our pupils’ progress and behaviour, supported by experienced, caring staff.

We provide a wide variety of activities to extend students’ learning experiences and develop their interest and involvement in sports and gardening and other areas. Our aim is to grow confident children who are well prepared not only for the next step in their education but also for their wider future.
