Overview
In the Early Start Unit, we focus on developing the children's prime areas of learning, including their communication and language, social skills and physical skills. We encourage the children to learn and use new vocabulary and to speak in sentences. We help to develop the children's physical skills through indoor and outdoor play where they can climb, run and practise their balancing. The children learn to be independent and take control of their eating, drinking and toileting.

Local Offer
The Local Authority and schools in Nottingham City have worked together to develop Nottingham City Schools Provision Maps. These maps provide a framework for provision in Nottingham and show interventions that it is reasonable for schools to provide to pupils identified with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our school makes provision for pupils with SEND in line with this framework. The detail of the provision will vary year on year according to the needs of the pupils.
The provision maps may be found at the link below.
For further details about the school's provision please contact the school directly.
