Mental Health Care Home (Orchard Street)

Overview

This project is open 24/7. Please contact the manager for more details.

Orchard Street, which is located in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, provides long-term accommodation for people with enduring mental health needs.

To access support from Orchard Street, you will usually need to be referred to us by a social worker.

How we can help

At Orchard Street, we provide long-term accommodation and support to our residents. We encourage them to remain as independent as possible, while also providing group and one-to-one support. We have a monthly meeting so that everyone has the opportunity to express their wishes and put forward ideas for activities, improvements and meals.

Each resident has a named support worker who will help to create and develop support plans based around individual needs. These help people to maintain their health and wellbeing, develop life skills, and live a meaningful life.

Accommodation

Orchard Street has 12 fully-furnished bedrooms in three separate bungalows with shared kitchen, lounge, bathroom and toilet facilities as well as a communal garden. There is easy access to local amenities as we are only a 10 minute walk away from the local town centre, there are a few shops a minute or two down the road.
