Planning for the Future seminars

We hold Wills and Trusts seminars around the country. These sessions are friendly, informative and give clear, helpful advice on how to provide financial security for a relative with a learning disability.

The seminars are delivered by solicitors who specialise in this complex area of law. They will help you understand the merits of all your different options, and answer any questions you may have about this important decision.

Local Offer

Mencap's Wills and Trusts Team can give you advice and support. They have an in-house wills and trusts solicitor and they provide nationwide seminars offering face to face advice, a directory of recommended solicitors, and free information booklets including details of the Mencap Trust Company which manages money left to someone with a learning disability.

Setting up a trust means you can leave money for a family member or friend with a learning disability without them having to worry about the responsibility of looking after it in their lifetime.
