Mattersey Primary School - Nursery

We are all very proud of our small, welcoming and friendly village school situated in the rural village of Mattersey. The staff, parents, governors, pupils and the community work together to achieve the very best for all our children and their families and we offer nursery provision for pupils from the term after their third birthday. Nursery pupils can attend every morning from 8:45am until 12 and then we also offer a lunchtime session from 12noon until 1pm. Our Nursery pupils are welcomed into the Burrow Class as part of our Foundation Stage.

One of the strengths of our school is that all our children are known personally, their needs can be met individually and we ensure that every child can fulfill their potential in a nurturing and supportive environment. We want our pupils to have the best possible time at school, to become happy, confident and successful learners with the experience of a wide range of curriculum and enrichment opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills.

Opening Times

Our school day begins at 8:45am. The school gate will open at 8:40am
Our school day ends at 3:15pm. The school gate will be opened from 3:10pm so that parents can collect their child/ren from the playground
