Maria Smith - Butterflies Childminding Services

I am a 34-year-old mother to two beautiful little girls. I am Ofsted-registered with a Good grading at my last inspection. I provide Early Years care (0–4 years).

I have a first class degree in Childhood Studies and also have a Masters degree in Psychology which, after having my first daughter, I decided to put my knowledge to good use by becoming a home-based Early Years Educator. I have also spent time working in Primary Schools, youth groups, and I was a 'Beat the Bullying' mentor for some years. I work alongside my mother-in-law (who is also an Ofsted Registered Childminder) and we provide a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment for your child. We have a large garden and dedicated playroom with an extensive range of toys and equipment to provide activities for play-based, child-led learning, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Opening Times

We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday during term-time only (Following Nottinghamshire County Council school dates).

We also accept childcare vouchers, tax-free childcare and funding.
