Making a Musician is a year-long programme delivered by Unanima Theatre for learning-disabled and neurodivergent musicians.
Participants work alongside professional musicians and access workers to explore music, develop their skills, and create their own sound. Whether performing as part of a band or developing as a solo artist, every participant works towards recording their music and performing live gigs.

The Old Library is situated in the town centre and can be accessed from Mansfield Bus Station which is a 5 min walk for the average ambulant person. There is an incline from the town centre up toward Leeming Street and it is 0.2 miles in distance.
If you are a Blue Bade holder, there is parking opposite the building between 10am and 4pm on the double yellow lines. The nearest car parks are Toot Hill (0.1 miles) or Handley Arcade (0.1 miles).
The building has step free access and an accessible toilet.
The closest Changing Places is in Mansfield Museum (next to our building) which is open from 10am – 3pm (Tuesday to Saturday).
