Overview
Longdon Park School harnesses passions, unlocks ability and realises potential by delivering individualised learning pathways to support pupils and their families.
We recognise that children with autism need to be taught in a different way; a way that is individual and relevant to them. To achieve this, we take a holistic approach to learning that wraps therapeutic care and educational support around the individual needs of each child.
Curriculum
We offer of a rich, vibrant, and ambitious curriculum, which will draw upon meaningful real-life experiences. The curriculum is designed so that it is ambitious for all learners and enables them to make progress regardless of their varied starting points or academic history. Its ultimate aim is to provide learners with the cultural capital, skills and qualifications that they need to succeed in later life, whether this lies in further education or within employment.
We want our children to dream big and offer a wide range of GCSEs and NOCN (National Open College Network) vocational qualifications. Children are supported through their exams by teachers in school and in some cases support from an online tutor.
