Lisa Naylor - Childminder

Hi, my name is Lisa. I’m a registered childminder with a good grading. My last inspection was May 18. I live in the Gedling area with my husband and children. I have over 22 years experience of working with children. I previously worked as a nursery nurse in a day nursery for 4 years. I also worked for the NHS within the health visiting team as a community nursery nurse for 12 years. I’m NVQ level 3 trained and have all the relevant first aid and safeguarding training.

I provide a loving, caring, fun, home from home stimulating environment in which children can thrive. We love going on outings to local parks, woods to do den building or picking berries. We spend a lot of time outdoors and like to grow fruit and vegetables in the garden. We go to lots of Playgroup’s, singing and music sessions throughout the week which the children love. We like to attend our local library to choose our favourite books.

I have a large garden with lots of outdoor equipment. I provide all home cooked meals and snacks. A healthy lunch and evening meal are included in my fees. I do before and after school pick up for All Hallows’ school in Gedling. I use tapestry to record all the children’s development in which you can access to review their progress.
