LDIF+ Masterclass – Embodied Rituals with Jamal Callender

Jamal Callender's journey into dance began at New York City's Ballet Tech and Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts, culminating in a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School. Callender's illustrious career spans performances with The Ailey II, Atlanta Ballet and Ballet Hispánico. In 2014, he founded the Barbados Dance Project, championing dance education and inclusivity. Callender's choreographic works, including GLORIA, have resonated globally. His dedication to the arts extends to teaching internationally and his advisory role in MOVE|NYC|. Recently, Callender graced the DIOR SS23 runway in Paris, continuing to inspire through his artistry.
