On an individual needs basis after each child's dietary requirements have been discussed with parents/carers. We can cater for most requirements including vegetarians and vegans and also have children with a range of allergies and intolerances. We also endeavour to ensure any cooking or baking activities are inclusive for all children. Children with restricted or limited diets due to medical reasons or individual preferences have also attended our setting.
Special needs (children)
Each child's needs will be discussed with parents/carers and any other professionals involved to ensure that all their needs can be met in our setting - on occasion staff may need to undertake specific training before a child can start but this will be done as soons as possible. We have experience of working with speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and dieticians to meet children's needs and support therapy plans. Three of our Senior Practitioners have undertaken an extensive range of training courses to achieve their SENDCo certificates and have worked with many children who need additional support.
We can (and have) provided places for children aged 2,3 and 4 who have or who are in the process of getting, an EHCP prior to their transition to either mainstream or specialist provision.
