Kids Planet West Bridgford Day Nursery

We are a small private day nursery in West Bridgford.

We offer private day care for children from 0-5 years in a welcoming setting with a newly refurbished outdoor space with areas accessible to all. Visits can be arranged to see the setting and meet the staff team by contacting the nursery manager.

We work closely with parents and carers prior to children starting, and throughout their time at the setting, to identify children's routines, their interests and their individual starting points. We do this through daily feedback, both face to face and through our 'ParentZone' app, through regular social media updates, or photos emailed privately if preferred, and we are available for parents to contact throughout the day via email or phone.

A designate key person works alongside parents, carers and any relevant professionals to set out next steps in the children's learning to support them in reaching their full potential and we aim to achieve these through in the moment planning, providing practical play based activities led by the child. We do this within the setting and also offer support with activities to be done at home. Children's progress is regularly documented and shared through our ParentZone app, where we publish regular observations and termly assessments, we invite parents to review meetings and parents evenings to ensure they are involved throughout their child's time here.

Our qualified SENCO and experienced staff team work closely with all relevant professionals, for example Speech and Language Therapists, Physio Therapists, Dieticians, Paediatricians, Occupational Therapists, and have attended a range of training, including Signs and Symbols, Manual Handling, Understanding Autism, WellComm, and many others to ensure all children receive care and education tailored to their individual needs.
