Overview
A home from home environment where children can either relax or burn energy after an exhausting day at school. My setting is very close to school however road safety is taught to all children. Only offering care for school age children means my time is devoted to them and the activities provided.
We are tucked away in a Barn Conversion, just a stones throw from Arnold Town Centre. Our open plan layout means a lovely open space, yet cosy for the children so they feel at home. From home cooked meals (which the children love to help with), chilled after schools watching a film on a cold afternoon to an ice cream on the park after a hot any sweaty summers day.
I support with reading and additional homework also. I also offer support, by attending school events to watch/participate with your child should you not be able to make it due to work commitments.
I have 15 years experience with children and a qualified Teaching Assistant.
From working in a private day nursery at 16, to joining the Royal Navy, I then went on to teaching and pastoral roles in Secondary education.
I pride myself on offering a unique service as I support children in their personal development, from the way they are guided to communicate and build positive relationships with peers to life skills such as cooking and crossing roads.
